Getting started with Horse Monkey in the USA

Written by Caitlin Hurn

Hello, America 🇺🇸 Meet Horse Monkey 🐒

To help you get started, we’ve brought all our US help guides
together below. Click any underlined guide title for the full instructions.

Create an account
Start by creating a Manager account. This is the account for anyone entering an event, whether you’re entering for yourself or on behalf of someone else. Choose

“I want to book events” when signing up.

Add your people
Your Athlete (People) Pool is where you save the riders, owners, trainers and coaches you need for your entries. Add everyone before your first entry so you can select the right people as you go.

Using a USEF number is the quickest way to add a person. Their mobile number, email, and ZIP code must match the information held by USEF in order to ensure we keep your data secure. You can add them manually if those details don’t match.

Add your horses
Add the horses you plan to compete with before starting your entry. You can use each horse’s USEF number or enter the details manually, then select the saved horse for future entries.

Enter your first competition
With your people and horses saved, you’re ready to enter. Horse Monkey takes you through five steps: build your combination, select your classes, complete the required information, add stabling or services, then review
and pay.

Before paying, check your entry details, fees, and total. If someone else is paying, you can generate a payment link. Once payment is complete, your entry is submitted and you can view it under Bookings in your account.

Get help with changes to your entry
If you need a class change, withdrawal, refund, or cancellation after your entry has been confirmed, contact the show organizer directly and quote your booking ID. Their contact details are on the event page or your booking confirmation. Changes are at the organizer’s discretion.

Keep your account up to date
Forgotten your password? Follow the reset guide to regain access to your account.

If you no longer need a person or horse in your active list, these guides explain how to delete or archive their profile. Archiving keeps their information available if you need it again later.
